About Wi9
My love for photography began when I was about seven years old. I ordered a blue, Pokemon film camera out of a Captain Crunch box, and fell absolutely in love with taking snapshots of everything in my world around me. I played with that for years, until in 2008, as an 8th grader, I graduated to my very first DSLR. It was a Canon EOS 20D, and I had one telephoto lens, but I didn't care. At that time in my life, it was the most amazing thing that I had ever held in my hands. Throughout my high school career, I took every photography class offered, and played around taking photos of my friends. I started to take family and senior portraits, my junior year of high school, and thus began my love of portraiture. In 2014, I purchased a Canon 5D Classic, which is what I shoot on today. I took the plunge into wedding photography in 2015. I am currently a Senior at Dixie State University, Majoring in Art with and emphasis in Photography and Digital Imaging.
I have two main goals as a photographer.
1) to always make my clients and models feel beautiful. I feel that everyone has unique, and beautiful aspects about them, and I love helping others realize their beauty and potential through my work.
2) to constantly be learning. One of the things that I love the most about photography is the fact that I don't know everything, and I probably never will. I am constantly learning and exploring, and that excites me to no end.
